We held our own whole school Science Week on Monday 8th March till Friday 11th March 2019. Our theme this year was Journeys.
All children across the school took part in two workshops. The first was the ‘Silly Science’ workshop, which involved children creating fire, making objects float and also applying force to an object to see how high it could travel. The second workshop, held for Key Stage Two, was a Virtual Reality Workshop. All Key Stage Two children were launched into space and traveled all eight planets!
Alongside these workshops, children took part in investigations, which were linked to our theme of Journeys. Last but not least, we had an exciting whole school Poster Competition! Congratulations to (6E), (3D) (4H), (1VH), who all won a fantastic prize for their posters. Well done to everyone else who entered.
